Brick walkway and patio created reusing existing brick and sourcing additional reclaimed brick.  Garden walls are local fieldstone.  Cedar Pergola in background reused old cedar posts from the home.
​Clean and contemporary urban garden created by replacing fencing, removing turf and building gravel river jack patio with bluestone steppers edged with perennial garden bed with crape myrtle.
​An unruly shade garden had to be redesigned due to the removal of the large tree that shaded it.  The new garden is a moon garden, with plenty of sivery folliage and white flowers that will shine day and night.
A garden filled with large tree roots transforms to a beautiful and functional raised bluestone patio with simple colorful landscaping plant selections.
Turf is remove and invasive vines, ivy and weeds are removed.  Soil is amended with lots of compost.  A new bluestone stepper pathway connects the side gate to the front walkway.  The shrub and tree plants are planted creating the skeleton of what will be a multi-layered tapestry of garden beauty.
​An old parking pad in a urban back garden is transformed into a brick patio in herringbone pattern, with lower level including trash area which is concealed by new fencing.  
An old dry stack wall is transformed into a masonry wall reusing the same stone and shade plantings including hostas and ferns are planted above the wall transforming this small alleyway on the side of the home into a pleasant walkway.
