Total Garden Makeover. Bluestone patios and walkways, dry river bed for aesthetics and drainage, pergola with retractable shade and rain canopy
Clean and contemporary urban garden created by replacing fencing, removing turf and building gravel river jack patio with bluestone steppers edged with perennial garden bed with crape myrtle.
Beautifying a front entrance can completely transform a home. A tired old concrete walk is replaced with a generous 6 foot wide bluestone walk, and its small stoop is replaced with a much larger porch.  The curved steps add a nice contrast in this very linear entrance.  The bluestone connects visually with the slate of the roof, tying the whole composition together.
Enlarged patio with water fountain, new alley wall and door, combination of classic and modern.
Turf is remove and invasive vines, ivy and weeds are removed.  Soil is amended with lots of compost.  A new bluestone stepper pathway connects the side gate to the front walkway.  The shrub and tree plants are planted creating the skeleton of what will be a multi-layered tapestry of garden beauty.
An old parking pad in a urban back garden is transformed into a brick patio in herringbone pattern, with lower level including trash area which is concealed by new fencing.
An old brick walkway lack of patio space led to this redesign which allowed for greater water infiltration, a more contemporary aesthetic and ample patio space.
A small urban garden gets completely renewed with new privacy fence, hardscaping and landscaping. Many elements of the new design were created by repurposing existing eements.

An old urban garden gets a fresh start with bluestone patio, screen trees (Thuja 'Emerald Green') and a garden refuge complete with metal roof for that unique and soothing sound of falling rain.
